My children just started back to school this week.....So I had to do this in stages.
In this photo that wall was a Dark Brown. I really liked it but was ready for a change.....
My sister ( Sugar Pie Farm House) found this old cottage gate years ago and when she was planning on moving to Mo. she asked me if I wanted it....
I said...AHHHHH YEAH!!!!!
It has such a fresh look!
I think the difference is when you are painting white...you need to stick to that pallet as far as furniture, accessories & textures.
I don't need alot of color to live with, that's where my Slips & Tee's come in.
This old window was such a unique shape and style I even added a old ceiling tin.
In the summer I bring out all my old shells .....as soon as September arrives, I love dried Hydrangeas, twigs & other natural elements.
The Kitchen is next.
I love old windows and doors. I still have a few more pieces to hang.
The Oil Painting below has been around for a while and was a little pricy at the time when I purchased it. But.... it wasn't always

"WHITE"
It was" YELLOW "when I bought it..When my home was French Country Reds & Golds
I know....I know...maybe I should'nt of change the color... but if it's sitting in the garage
WHY NOT!!!!
I'm not sure on the Signature of the artist?
At this point it works for me.
I will update on how the re-do's are coming along...

So charming and peaceful!! Love all that you do and your creating style is to die for!!
I love your blog. So inspiring. I just found you through other blogs, and I'm so glad that I did.
I have been so inspired with the colors of white and linen, that I am now going to "convert" mostly everything that I have to the lighter colors. I have been primitive early american for so long, time to lighten things up.
